Backup and restore

Back up with adb

Terminal window
adb backup -apk -shared -all -f backup.ab

Photos and files

Section titled “Photos and files”

Copy the contents of /sdcard to your computer:

adb pull /sdcard/DCIM ./DCIM
adb pull /sdcard/Documents ./Documents

Restore

Section titled “Restore”

After installing, put your files back:

adb push ./DCIM /sdcard/DCIM
